Photography Final
In photography class I learned a lot of stuff that has helped me for the future and that helped me with my assignments. My biggest struggle of the semester during this course had to be developing the black and white film, that was very hard for me to do in the dark, I ended up getting it but it took a lot of time and errors to fix. I took this class because I wanted to learn more about cameras and how to work them better, which I learned and it helped me a lot and I am very glad that I know how to work a nice camera now so I can continue to take pictures. I think my biggest success in this class was the architecture shots, I love old abandoned houses so it was a really fun assignment for me to take pictures for. If I could go back and redo an assignment it would be the nature closeup shots. At the time I didn't have a decent camera and lens to use for the focus of the plants. This class has really helped me and I am excited to use my new knowledge in the future.

Assignment number 1
I chose this picture because I love the emotion shown through the picture. The fact that this girl is lying in the ruins of her town shows the despair and sadness of what has become of the town. The girls facial expression is my favorite part of this photo because it helps summarize the emotion of the photo. My favorite kind of photography is pictures shown with emotion and stories behind them. Carol Guzy is an amazing photographer because she focuses more on the emotion in the pictures rather than just the picture itself. She shows how life really is and tries to bring the reality and harshness of life all around the world in her pictures. Carol Guzy is one of the most famous American journalists of all time.
